USDA Exports - Unknown destinations buy corn and wheat

Private exporters reported the sales of:

  • Unknown destinations bought nearly 4.4 million bushels of 2016/2017 corn.
  • Unknown destinations bought 5.1 million bushels of wheat. The deal includes 3.4 million of the 2016/2017 crop and nearly 1.7 million of the 2017/2018 crop.

The marketing year for corn begins Sept. 1 and wheat June 1.

Private exporters reported the sale of 7.64 million bushels of corn to Japan. The deal includes 2.36 million bushels of 2016/2017 crop and 5.28 million of the 2017/2018 crop, USDA said on Friday.
