AEM Releases Ag Sprayer Manual In E-Book

New e-book series also speeds global distribution of safety guidelines

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has published its Agricultural Sprayer Safety Manual in e-book format to meet industry demand for safety information conveniently accessible from mobile devices.

With the e-book format, AEM can also more easily distribute safety information globally and extend the reach of its safety messaging.

AEM e-book safety manuals are not meant to replace print but provide another avenue to reach equipment operators and help them practice safety in the field. The AEM safety e-books feature variable type, bookmarks, the ability to embed and e-mail notes, content searching and a low-light reading format.

New e-book series also speeds global distribution of safety guidelines

AEM safety e-books are available as iBooks on Apple's iBookstore. The association has also published an e-book version of its safety manual covering hydraulic excavators, and plans to add more manuals to the iBookstore, as well as expand into other e-book platforms to increase availability.

Sales of all AEM safety e-books are also available in 50 iTunes international stores (including the U.S.).

To order the electronic version of the AEM Agricultural Sprayer Safety Manual, just install iTunes on your Mac or PC if you don't already have it and then download the Agricultural Sprayer Safety Manual e-book . For the print version of the manual, and all AEM safety manuals and materials, visit the online AEM Store at http://shop.aem.org.

All AEM safety manuals outline typical worksite and equipment hazards as well as safe practices in equipment preparation, operation, maintenance and transport. The guidelines are presented in a concise and well-illustrated layout for easy comprehension. AEM safety manuals are not a substitute for manufacturer manuals.
