Dewalt rolls out lithium-ion powered reciprocating saw designed for a range of jobs around the farm.

The new 20V Max Lithium Ion reciprocating saw from Dewalt is designed for a range of remodeling and cutting tasks around the farm. Best bet is you don't need a cord for power, the battery-powered machine is handy for remote area tasks.

The saw cuts through wood, PVC an various metal including studs, conduit and steel pipe.

The compact configuration of the 20V Max saw allows users to make controlled overhead cuts and cuts in tight spaces such as in between studs, under sinks, and in corners.

Dewalt's keyless 4-Position Blade Clamp gives the user the ability to orient the tool according to the type of cut they are making, the powerful 4-pole motor and the 1-1/8-inch stroke length allow for fast cutting (0-2,900 SPM) in a variety of materials. The fixed pivoting shoe provides leverage for different applications and users will appreciate the ergonomic handle with soft grip for comfort while cutting, as well as the tool’s balance of performance and compact design (14.5” long; 5.0 lbs). Other features include the variable speed switch for control during cutting applications, an LED light to illuminate the cutting surface and work area.
