China Buys 117,000 Tonnes of US Soybeans

USDA says Chinese soybean purchase is for 2014-2015 delivery

Private exporters told USDA that China bought 117,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans for delivery during the 2014-2015 crop year, which begins Sept. 1, USDA said on Monday.

USDA issues daily and weekly export sales reports to the public. Exporters must report to USDA within one business day any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity, made in one day

Exporters must also report quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period, except 20,000 tons for soybean oil, made in one day to one destination or quantities totaling 40,000 tons or more in any reporting period.
