Markets Mostly Quiet Ahead Of USDA Report

End of month and end of quarter positioning ahead of the quarterly stocks report has the markets trading cautiously. (audio)

Wheat continues to move higher as the rally extends to a full week of trading after strong export numbers, a smaller production forecast, and poor weather in South America support prices. Soybeans and corn are both trading in a narrow range ahead of the stocks report as mixed harvest data comes in. Weather for most of the Midwest looks to remain favorable though the middle of next week, keeping harvest moving and putting pressure on prices.
