Markets wait for more data

Futures mixed ahead of energy report and Fed statement. (audio)

Grain futures have had a fairly quiet overnight session, and that may be a good thing given recent market volatility. While grain traders try to figure out what the Russian government may do with its export taxes, outside markets are waiting for release of the latest energy data this morning, followed by the statement on monetary policy from the Federal Reserve.
