Salford Adds Beef To I-2100 Residue Manager

Coil-mounted coulters get bigger coils for more ground penetration in tougher conditions.

Salford's new I-2100 residue manager uses the Coil Tech Coulter II and a 1 5/8" coil (up from 1.25" on previous models) to run 22-inch coulters on five-bolt hubs in tougher conditions and heavier residue.

The latest model of the "Independent" Series keeps the heavy, rubber mounted frame of earlier models, and is rated at an acre per hour per foot.

The I-2100 has been engineered for compatibility with I-series seeding and fertilizer attachments to allow producers to safe fuel and labor costs by combining field operations.

MSRP on the I-2100 is $52,000.

Huge 1 5/8" coils carry 22-inch coulter blades on the new Salford I-2100 residue manager and provides for the "jackhammer" action the company says helps break compaction and incorporate organic matter.
