Soybean Export News Supports Prices

Positive export news for soybeans supports prices as the week begins. (Audio)

Export inspections are picking up to normal levels and another large sale of soybeans to unknown destinations is pushing prices near the $13 level. Corn shipments are picking up as the pipeline fills, but ethanol production did not grow much in the delayed report out this morning. Wheat shipments are slowing to seasonal levels, but remain well ahead of last year's pace.
