Soybeans Continue to Fall

Soybeans continue to slide as bearish news pulls on corn and wheat as well. (Audio)

Yesterday's bearish USDA report has carried into today with soybeans leading the grain markets lower. The government shutdown will limit the number of USDA reports for now, which might be good news for the markets. Wheat seemed to be the only place where any good news could be found and the markets are responding accordingly. Winter weather is on the way for the High Plains by Thursday, signaling that it can't be far for the first frost in much of the Midwest.

Farm Futures Market Analyst Paul Burgener reports on morning grain trade. Listen to him using the audio player on this page.
