Soybeans Extend Market Gains

Drier weather could spread next week, triggering bargain hunting. (Audio)

Soybeans enjoyed more buying overnight, flirting with double digit gains with follow-through strength emerging on the heels of Thursday’s rally. Forecasts are turning drier for beginning late next week, which could become an issue for soybeans. Corn prices continued to founder overnight, burdened by slow new crop exports and ideas Monday’s USDA report will show record production and burdensome carryout.
