Two New Series From LS Give Growers Four New Farm Tractor Models

XR-4000 and XU-5000 Series feature comfortable cabs and Tier 4 compliant engines.

LS Tractor is planning to have two new farm tractor series in dealer hands by February, 2013, giving growers the choices of four horsepower models with lots of standard features and clean-air engines.

The XR-4000 Series includes a 40 horsepower and 46 hp (engine rating) choice with options of synchro shuttle or hydrostatic drives. Both machines have an 8.2 gpm hydraulic pump and weigh in at 4,334 lbs.

LS tractor's new XR-4000 Series tractor, shown, and the XU-5000 Series will be in dealer's hands in February 2013. The two series include models that range from 40 horsepower through 46 hp.; 55 hp.; and 65 hp.

The XU-5000 Series is powered with a 55 hp. and 65 hp. engine selection with either synchro shuttle or power shuttle transmissions. The bigger series also features a larger, 10.5 gpm hydraulic pump, and depending upon how they are equipped, range from 4,667 lbs. to 5,121 lbs. The 5000 Series also includes an optional mid-mount powertakeoff.

All farm models in the new series feature efficient heat and AC in the cab, a loader control joystick lever and two sets of remote-control hydraulic valves.
