Private exporters reported that 120,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans were sold to unknown destinations for delivery during the 2014/2015 marketing year, USDA said on Tuesday.
The marketing year for soybeans began Sept. 1.
As of August 28, unknown destinations accounted for nearly 6.02 million tons of the total year-to-date 2014/2015 soybean sales of 21.674 million.
USDA issues both daily and weekly export sales reports to the public. Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity, made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period.
