USDA: Exporters Report Corn, Sorghum Sold to Unknown

Corn is for 2014-2015 delivery, USDA says

Private exporters reported the export sales of 217,400 metric tons of 2014/2015 corn and 116,000 metric tons of sorghum to unknown destinations, USDA said on Wednesday.

The sorghum deal includes half for the 2013/2014 crop year and the balance for 2014/2015.

The marketing years for corn and sorghum begin Sept. 1.

The sales were reported under USDA's daily export sales reporting system.   Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity made in one day.
