To meet a growing customer demand for a price-competitive alternative to the competition, Great Plains is rolling out the new LC40 Lister Cultivator model. The machine combines a stack-fold toolbar with parallel linkage row units.
That parallel linkage combined with depth band coulters provides precise depth gauging on individual rows. The units can be configured to 30-, 36-, 38- and 40-inch row spacings. The machine can be configured as a lister or turned into a row crop cultivator with rear sweeps.
Other features for the machine include thicker mainframe walls for durability; laser-cut depth gauges or precise seedbed preparation; locking depth controls for planting accuracy; and wider depth gauging coulter mountings for added strength and durability.
