Soybean harvest is beginning the U.S. south, with preliminary reports of large yields; in other areas, however, SDS prevalence is rumored. This news has supported the markets.

The Farm Progress Show on Thursday was canceled due to high risk of lightning and rain throughout the Boone, Iowa, area. More rain should fall through the weekend in the western Midwest.
