The rising popularity of wheel loaders for use in the ag market is an opportunity for SDLG North America. The company is rolling out two wheel loader models - the LG938L with a 2.4-cubic yard bucket, and the LG959 with a 4-cubic yard bucket. The company says the machines are easy to operate and include strong breakout forces and high dump clearances geared to farm-focused material handling needs including grain, feedlot and dairy operations. These are also the first machines in the SDLG equipment line made available to North America.
The LG938L has an operating weight of 23,150-lbs. Its standard bucket capacity of 2.4 cubic yards is rated to load and carry up to 6,000-lbs. Power comes from a Tier 4-interim certified Deutz TCD 6.1-liter L6 turbocharged, liquid-cooled engine. The engine uses cooled exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel particulate filter with automatic, active regeneration, to reduce emissions. The engine is rated at 160-hp.
The LG959 has an operating weight of 38,250-lbs. with a standard bucket capacity of 4-cubic yards and is rated to load and carry 10,000-lbs. of material. Power comes from a Deutz D7E LAE3 turbocharged, liquid-cooled engine meeting Tier 3 emission standards. Engine horsepower is rated at 224.
Both machines include a 12-month, 1,500-hour warranty. For more information visit www.sdlgna.com.
