Soybeans Higher After China's Big Purchase

Corn lower on big crop, wheat futures mixed. (Midday audio)

Soybean futures were slightly higher in midday trading following China's purchase on Wednesday of 620,000 metric tons. That deal plus one earlier in the week have lifted China's soybean purchases to near its year-ago level.
