Wheat Rally Holds On For Another Day

Another solid export sales report extends the wheat rally for another day. (audio)

Export sales came in at or above the expected ranges this morning, supporting the wheat rally. Corn and soybeans are unable to shake harvest pressure despite having the most encouraging numbers in the export sales report. Weather looks good for harvest into the beginning of next week when showers may move into the northwestern part of the Midwest.

Market Analyst Paul Burgener joined the Farm Futures team in November 2012 and brings a solid ag economics background. A former University of Nebraska Extension Ag Economist with training from the University of Wyoming, Burgener brings extensive experience to his new role.
